    Even today, America does not exclusively belong to persons of European descent. There is a wide ethnic diversity in most major US cities and states and these different ethnic groups are present in all walks of life and in all professions.

    I know that among some Chinese, there is a hidden desire to demand Siberia from the Russian Federation. I must say that Siberia was originally inhabited by Turko-Mongol people. There were also people with close links with Native Americans of Alaska and Canada. Siberia definitely does not belong to, or, had a population of, Han Chinese. Russian Federation is trying to repopulate Siberia so that there is no demographic shift in Siberia due to immigration of ethnic Han Chinese (http://www.spiegel.de/international/...737909,00.html).

    I like KickOk- he is not fanatical , the post is laid out per his perspective. I actually don't know much about that region. But feel that KickOk is not a guy to shy away from condemning any wrongs from his govt...he does not come across as one sided.

    By that logic, historically, the area South of the Yellow River also does not belong to the Han, nor those of Greater Tibet and Xinjiang.
