    There is no doubt that the US is no longer looked at with attitude that was there before after the Iraq attack.

    And US intervention in the South China Sea is taken by the peripheral small nations as a great help and it indicates the reassertion of the US global leadership.

    My Filipino relatives certainly feel like US importance is back in their country's national psyche after China's blatant shoving. But economically, it remains to be seen where the US is heading in the next 10 years.
