Literally thausands highway projects in China are underway, so statistically this is insignificant. It also happened in a less developed inland province where quality control is probably less stringent than in the coastal areas. The fact that highways are extending to such remote mountainous areas in China, is in itself a great accomplishment, somehitng indians can only dream of. Now can someone please compare this to the fiasco that was the common wealth games in india last year?

Tony what has CWG got to do with Cheap Quality rubbish highways and bridges (and third rate low quality fake products) being constructed throughout China??

So, by your logic we should do few more CWG scams and whole of China will crumble under its own weight like these rubbish bridges and highways?

Tony, you are dam right we can never dream of Bridges and Highways made of garbage; I say - we should never and let china construct all the structures and ghost towns filled with rubbish! :)

This is what happens when showcasing takes precedence over the reality of the situation!

Apart from the issue of the walkway collasping during construction (at which point the army was able to remedy it within a week) there was no serious issues regarding the CWG.

The whole world wanted India to fail in hosting the CWG, but ultimately, it turned out fine.

Chinese are ridiculously insecure people, rather than recognizing a mistake they immediately launch into a crap-flinging match.

This is not just a problem for China. For us it is a bigger problem with completely corrupt @$$h0!e$ ruling us. Mind you, Chinese might have their share of accidents, but their infrastructure is ahead of us that even most ardent Indian nationalist will admit.
